Here's the original rear view. Nothing wrong with it aside from the paint job. But I had been looking at these cars in my garage all my life. And I definitely wanted something a lot more extreme. A 21st century version of what Alessandro DeTomaso and Tom Tjaarda might have had in mind if they started this in 2000 instead of 1971.
With the new wheels mounted it sure looked a lot tougher. Although it was just a first step.
With the wheels mounted using spacers to create the actual rear track it started to look better.
Here she is with the diffuser finally finished and the exhaust system almost complete.
After the initial paint job it was now complete. But something was still missing.
Once we found the right tail lights, we started building around them. Now the rear face is equal to the front nose.
